Khloe Kardashian has joined the very short list of Kardashian sisters who have spoken out about the obvious botched edits on the fam’s new reality show The Kardashians†
Instead of ranting at them like her sister Kourtneyhowever, Khloé has taken a more defensive approach.
Khloé was asked if she notices that the montage is failing – such as the gang organizing a family gathering about… Tristan Thompson — during her performance on Hot Ones of Sean Evans†
“It’s not that those things didn’t happen, but sometimes they didn’t pick up the audio or sometimes the mics went off,” Khloé said.
“I understand that a lot of [the scenes] it could really be how it used to be, but maybe they just need to redo or switch to things.
“I’m really aware of those things.”
She also said that she indeed sees all edits failing and theories circulating on “a lot of pages or fan accounts”. So if you ever think Ms. Khloé Kardashian isn’t watching, think again.
If you’ve ever wanted to see Khloé Kardashian some spicy wings while spilling tea, here’s how to do it:
Kourtney Kardashian on the other hand was bloody furious about how her love story met Travis Barker was overshadowed by the Scott Disick drama on the agenda.
In a recent episode of the Hulu series, Kourtney got a supermeta and made the show she appeared in.
†[Travis and I] movie and have the best time ever, and then we watched the montages, and it was so annoying because they drag us into this Scott drama,” Kardashian told her bestie, Steph Shepherd†
Kourto was especially annoyed at the way the editors chose to play on Scott Disick’s emotions regarding Travis’s proposal rather than the actual proposal itself.
“During the filming of our show, we are all executive producers, so we get to see parts of the show and take notes on the episodes and make sure our stories are told,” she said. “I’m in one of the best places I’ve ever been in my life, and it’s time for our show to catch up.”
“that night [Barker proposed to me]I wasn’t like, ‘God, everyone is such an asshole to bring this up [Disick’s reaction] because it wasn’t part of the night. It was just two seconds into the night. I didn’t even remember until I saw part of the episode,” she added.
In a confessional, Kourt added that the way the show was edited “enables this old story and buys something that doesn’t really exist”.
“It should be a powerful episode about how I get out of toxic relationships and really have this fairytale love story that is my reality,” she added.
The mother of three went on to say she wished “they’d take that out and put it in the next episode, and give us our respect and give us our moment. I’m like, ‘Why not tell the fairy tale? Like, how can this be taken negatively?’”
She pointed out that she’s “been apart for seven years” and that she’s “got to create new memories and new ways of doing things.”
That girl actually has a point! Poor Kourt and Travis…
I also wonder how much control the family has over editing.
When they were still on KUWTK at the E! Network, they were the evil overlords of all operations. But it sounds like Kourtney Kardashian doesn’t really have anything to say this time around. Eek!
Whoever, The Kardashians is now streaming on Disney+ if you want to solve all the chaotic scenes for yourself.
